    Any updates on how the Exede availability project for my area of 14719, etc. is going?
    You thought it would be available by now but I haven't been informed as such.

    Just got off the phone CS and I am pleased at all now; I was trying to explain to him that I've not been able to view my bill sense I was up graded on the 9th of February and that even though it is said the usage meter is up and running that it's not working for me at all. Well, He kept trying to tell me to wait an hour that I would be able to view my bill and that the usage meter would be working; my question to him was if it hadn't worked from the 9th of February until today in which I called you, what make you think that it's going to work in a hour? CS isn't any help other then to keep you upset. Please have someone to fix this problem for me; it has become a living nightmare for me now.

    Hi Steve, My system is working fine but from the forum I found out that Exede requires a 17gauge ground wire from the mast to the ground block on house. Mine is 25' away. All I have going to the ground block is the cable. On my original install in 8/09 I had improper grounding and you had a field tech out and he got it right but found nothing wrong with the mast to the ground block. I called tech support and they would schedule a reinstallation but said I could be responsible for a service charge since my service was working fine. Should I let them come out and install the correct grounding and is there any way they could charge me anything. My upgrade was done 4/11/12.

  5. A friend here on the Island, Doug Hoffman, suggested that I contact you. I had WildBlue installed a few weeks ago. Supposedly the download speed is up to 12 megabytes and I believe it is. I have still kept Cellcom which is about 1 megabyte, but the actual download is more than twice as fast as WildBlue. In fact WildBlue will not download the streaming stock charts that I need for investing which is no problem with Cellcom. A technician was here on Monday and slightly adjusted the antenna with no improvement. Also AEI in Green Bay quoted a charge of $49.99 per month but added a $10 monthly charge for the modem. Was never provided with a contract. Any suggestions before I have them remove the system?

  8. Steve - The root of my availability confusion is summed up by the comment on the "Get Exede" tab results. It shows that Exede is not available but there is the comment as quoted below.

    "Why did I get a result for WildBlue service and not Exede service?
    Unfortunately, there are a few small areas in the U.S. where Exede service is not currently available. The service is planned to launch in additional areas in the second half of 2012. However, please note that Exede service will not be available in certain limited areas of the U.S. even after that date. To find out more, we encourage you to contact a local dealer..

    So my question is a) should I be included now b) will I be included in the fall as mentioned or c) will I never be included and why is that if it is available nearby?
    The comment mentions contacting local installers but none of them have any information either. That is why I need an answer from the Corporate HQ or some one in contact with them. Thanks again

    I am currently a WildBlue user since 2006 in the Western New York State area zip code 14719.

    I am very much planning on upgrading to Exede top tier plan.

    It is not available in my area but is only about 10 miles from me. According to the coverage map, Exede should be available.

    When will it be available and whom can I speak with to try to expedite the process, please?

    I am so much looking forward to being an Exede customer for a long time.
