A while back one of our installation techs on here said the different satellite icons and colors indicated which spot-beam your modem is locked to.

I've never seen a translation chart that provides the relationship between the icons and spot beams...

Thanks for the explanation of the satellite symbols. BTW, my firmware is 13.04.
