    Default modem problems

No internet. Modem starts at scanning then syncing then ranging then ranged then network entry then software download. Then it starts over the process again. Any ideas what is going on?
Well, I did it. Boy did I ever.........

That is the version I have and been good, hope you get it going, is it trying to go backwards to older version, I had that issue for a while, very irritating, would load up the old version and cyle like yours is.....maybe cs can help with it while it is doing it at the moment........

Joe, do you have local weather conditions like heavy cloud cover, mist/rain? The third light will blink occasionally to maintain satellite lock...if the light blinks all the time when no internet activity is being used it usually indicates the modem is having a difficult time staying locked to the satellite.

A slightly misaligned dish can also cause this..and, of course, there are other possibilities like a marginal Tria, Modem or bad cable/connection, but weather or dish alignment are the most common causes.

Test your download speed, and especially test your upload speed..maybe this can help narrow down the cause.

Click this link and check all the entries for both modem and Tria...also look for any red icons..

My modem stated cycling last night about 6:30 pm CDT. It was still doing this at 12:00 when I went to bed. It is working fine this morning. I have the same firmware version as I had before it started, UT_1.4.0.2.0.
