Default Welcome to primetime slow down. Again.

I think I'd been better off staying with the old legacy system. Same old crap again. This is happening every evening. At non peak times my speeds are blazing fast. Thanks Wildblue!

I have been having the same problem. Speeds are constantly up and down. Or I should say either up or down, there doesn't seem to be anything in between. It's either Speedy Gonzales or Slow Poke Rodriguez. I enjoyed the upgrade very much during the first week of installation, now it doesn't seem to be doing as well. I feel your pain.

1.2 mbps is what I am getting too. I filed a complaint with the FCC this morning. If they are not going to deliver 12 mbps during the time most people are home to use it, then they should not be allowed to advertise that speed.

Same experience here. Simply amazing, this is a new system and one would not think that there has not been enough time to oversubscribe this thing so quickly. I am sure that it is all down hill from here.

A complaint won't do any good since speeds are advertised as "up to" 12 mbps.

The difference is to big. If you sell up to 12 mbps, then the slowest speed should not be less then 10 to 20 percent less than advertised. Not 10 percent of advertised speeds.

I have cox cable with up to speeds of 18meg
Evenings are almost always 6-8meg and very occasionally less than 1meg
Less than 1/2 of up to...
