Default Exede Usage Meter Is Online Now

We're happy to announce that our Exede usage meter is now online and available for our Exede customers!

The usage meter informs you of the following:

    • How much data comes with your Exede plan
    • How much data you've used during the current month
    • How much data you have remaining to use in the current month
    • Your next usage reset date

To view your Exede Usage Meter, simply login to your account at this URL:
    http://goo.gl/cbt9a

The login to view the usage meter is the same for all Exede customers, both with 5 Mbps or 12 Mbps service plans.

If you don't have, or don't know, your login credentials, call our Customer Service at 1-866-945-3258 and they can assist you with your username, or reset your password.

This usage meter helps you keep track of your data usage, so you can plan how much you can use between now and the next usage reset date.

In the coming days and weeks, we’ll also begin to send automated notifications when your data usage is in excess of 70% and 100% of your allowance. If your data usage results in reduced speeds, the email notification will tell you. Remember, you can upgrade your plan if you want additional full-speed data. In the coming months, we’ll roll out options that allow you to purchase more full-speed data, as you need it. Stay tuned for updates!”

What is the lag time for seeing your usage? I installed a system yesterday and the meter still shows "0" usage.

The meters appear to be stagnant...not updating..I think this is just the first step..getting the customer's ability to at least see their usage meter, even if the usage is invalid..

No telling where the first set of usage numbers came from...but for sure, they are not accurate nor updating overnight.

There's a wake-up call! I'm at 158%. So what should I do for the next 3 weeks? And it seems pretty unlikely that I've truly downloaded 21GB in just 8 days -- but possible. I've been using Spotify streaming and participated in one 30 minute Google+ Hang Out video chat and watched one hour long GoToMeeting presentation for work. This will be interesting...

Your monthly data allowance 15.0 GB
Your usage (current period) Downloaded: 21.2 GB
    Uploaded: 2.5 GB
    Total usage: 23.7 GB
    Amount remaining
    in current period 0 GB

Your usage will be reset to zero on 06/08/2012.

Oh Goodie! I'm glad it's finally available to us customers.
    I just love being capped.

Sorry Steve, I couldn't resist being sarcastic.

My meter is updating. I don't know how accurate it is, but it has changed since yesterday. Yesterday I had used 4.8GB. Today I have used 4.9 GB.

Mine is not accurate. Says I'm at 144% since 5/10/12, which is not the case.

Mine is not accurate either. It should go from 5/16 to 6/15. I was at 9.2 on my 7.5 plan on 5/17 and I wasn't even in the house all day. Now is still says 9.2 and hasn't changed since I first saw it.

OK, mine did update late today..lt looks like it takes 100mB's (.1gB) change in either the download or upload to move the meter...so accuracy is within .1gB..

We'll know more with time and monitoring the meter...
