I was talking with a tech support agent on the phone and we where troubleshooting my speed he found out that i actually knew what i was talking about with my internet connection he suggested that i post some of my speed test results on the forum so i though just start a whole new thread about it

To provide a controlled environment for this i would like to have all results come form

this will give the techs at wild blue see what the service is doing in real world test from real world users

All you folks using speedtest.net and other flash-based speed test sites are fooling yourselves...they are notoriously inaccurate.

The only way to get true speed tests is at testmy.net, and by running a separate download and upload test...and you must use a large enough file size to allow most of the satellite latency caused errors to be averaged out...for download tests use the 12mB, or larger, file size..and for upload tests use the 7.5mB, or larger, file size..
