This morning whenever I click wildblueworld.com forums link it returns to Welcome to wildblue world powered by google. On that page the wildblue forum link and Official wildblue forum link return to the wildblue world page.
I could only get to the forum by going through the history and going to a page I was on yesterday.
I see everyone posting, so is it something on my end?

Sounds like your bookmark for this forum in FF got changed somehow...delete it, then save it again when you are on this forum...it works OK with my FF 8.01.

Copy and paste this into your bookmark for this forum:

wm4bama, I copied and pasted the link and it still goes to the "Welcome to Wildblue World" page. I have been having other problems recently with FF. I'll click on a link and "The page isn't redirecting properly" comes up but using the sme link in IE it will work fine. Maybe it's time to try Chrome again.

What happens when you click the link directly from the post above? (no copy/paste).

Then when the page opens from the link above click your "Bookmarks" button then select "Bookmark this page"...from then on use it to get to this forum...and you can delete all the others in your Bookmarks list.

I had issues with pages loading slowly, if at all, with FF and switched to Chrome. My almost side by side loading of pages showed Chrome loading faster, and that was with the WB optimizer installed that supports FF but not Chrome.

Keep in mind that Chrome uses your systems settings (Internet Options/Connection/LAN Settings).

If you installed the Optimizer it has the WB proxy server setup in your LAN Settings, which Chrome will use.

The Optimizer does not tweak Chrome's internal options the way it does Internet Explorer or Firefox, but it does force it to use the WB proxy server, which can cause problems for you on some web sites...

So, IMHO, it's best for you to uninstall the Optimizer, then check you LAN Settings and make sure no check marks are in any of the boxes, including the "Automatically Detect Settings".

Click 'Help' | 'About' in FF and it will display your version and check for an update - or mine does.

Actually I just clicked the "apply update button" and it closed all the open windows and tabs and when they reopened everything is working correctly now. I don't know if it was the update (it still says 8.0) or just the fact that FF was restarted but thanks for the help.
