    Still not the advertised "up to" upload speed, but way better than I have been getting the past three days.

    The earlier in the day you test the better your results will be for d/l speeds. If you test your d/l speed between 6-8am you will see what your "best" speed is. Also, your posted results did not show what size file you used for the tests...hope you use the 1.5mb file for d/l testing and either the 1.0 or 1.5mb file for upload testing...if you use the dual test option you will get skewed and false speed reports.

    You will not get better that 80% of your "up-to" speed for uploads, none of us do..for the Pro Pak you can expect 190-200kbs at best, and that is usually good 24/7...

    Bama, yes I used the larger test files, I do not use the dual test unless I am just wanting to get a quick snap shot.

    The past three days my upload speeds have been between 80 and 100 Kbps. This morning I got 197 Kbps and this afternoon 188 Kbps. It is after 5:00 pm now and I will run another large file upload test and post it.

    Last night I had the lowest download speed I have had since being with WB, it was 658 Kbps, it was around 8:00 pm so I wasn't surprised, still way better than dial up.

    ::.. Upload Stats ..:::
    Upload Connection is:: 160 Kbps about 0.2 Mbps (tested with 1496 kB)
    Upload Speed is:: 20 kB/s
    Tested From:: http://testmy.net/ (Main)
    Test Time:: 2010/01/14 - 4:21pm
    Bottom Line:: 3X faster than 56K 1MB Upload in 51.2 sec
    Tested from a 1496 kB file and took 76.667 seconds to complete
    Upload Diagnosis:: Looks Great : 12.68 % faster than the average for host (wildblue.net)

    Test time isn't correct, it is actually 5:20 pm here.

    Yes, all times posted from TMN is Mountain Time zone...their servers are in Dallas, but the net administrator lives in the MST zone, so he uses his local time on the servers.

    Try those two tests in the morning between 6-8am local, and post the results...I would like to see if you're one of the few customers I've seen data from that has upload speeds vary so much with the time of day. Normally u/l speeds stay pretty consistent 24/7...within 10%, which is to say between 70-80% of your "Up-to"

    I forget if you mentioned this before, but what beam are you on?

    Well, your upload speeds are still a little low for the Pro Pak...you should get between 190-200kbs...

    Are they low enough to warrant a dish alignment service call? If you're one that wants a "perfect" system then you may opt for that. If you do very little uploading (like me) then you would probably opt not to do the realignment...realignment will not improve your d/l speeds...it was was me, I'd leave it as-is...imho..
